Based in Osteopathy, Ortho-Bionomy® is a structural approach to bodywork that eliminates pain and accelerates healing. Using gentle, non-invasive techniques we help the body recognize its own ability to heal by engaging self-corrective reflexes of the nervous system.

Ortho-Bionomy is highly effective in working with chronic stress, injuries and pain. We work with where the body “is” at the given time of a session, always moving into comfort and away from pain. Ortho-Bionomy helps the body remember its original state by recognizing comfort within the body to replace attention to pain.

Your Practitioner will gently access your body for tender and tight spots while standing and again as you lie, wearing comfortable clothes, on a massage table. Areas of restricted mobility and pain are gently moved to uncover positions which bring about a lessening of pain and a feeling of comfort. The position is held and possibly exaggerated by a mild compression into the joint until the muscles release.

Please wear loose, comfortable clothing.
